1. Introduction
Welcome to DOCXCLOUD TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED ("DocxCloud"). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DocxCloud.
- "DocxCloud" refers to the legal entity DOCXCLOUD TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED and its proprietary cloud management platform.
- "User" refers to the enterprise entity or individual authorized to access the Services.
- "Services" refers to all software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings, including cloud cost optimization, inventory management, and reporting tools.
2. Account Terms
To utilize our cloud optimization features, you must provide valid credentials for your cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Security Responsibility
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and credentials. DocxCloud employs industry-standard encryption, but any unauthorized access resulting from user-side credential leakage remains the liability of the User.
3. Use License
DocxCloud grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for internal business purposes only. This license specifically includes:
- Permission to run cloud optimization analysis on connected accounts.
- Access to proprietary cost-reduction algorithms and recommendation engines.
- The right to generate and export financial reports for internal stakeholder review.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the DOCXCLOUD platform.
4. Data Governance
We prioritize the integrity and security of your enterprise data. Our governance framework ensures:
Read-Only Access
DocxCloud operates primarily via read-only IAM roles, ensuring we cannot modify your core infrastructure without explicit administrative action.
Metadata Protection
We only process metadata required for optimization (tags, instance types, usage hours). We do not access sensitive data stored within your databases.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DOCXCLOUD TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the services.
While our recommendations aim for cost reduction, actual savings are dependent on cloud provider policies and user execution. DocxCloud does not guarantee specific financial outcomes.
6. Termination
You may terminate your service at any time through the administration dashboard. Upon termination, DocxCloud will cease all API calls to your cloud accounts and delete your stored access metadata within 30 days, unless required otherwise by law.
